As always my little one, your first choice of presentation in the absence of a command from me to “Present” or the insistent tap of my right foot is one of supplication. As I taught you on your first day, kneeling before me with legs wide apart should always be your first choice. But there are alternate ways to do this that must be adhered to under differing circumstances. It will be up to you to remember which position is the appropriate one at the appropriate time.
1) If you are simply awaiting my command or attention with no particular intent then you are to kneel with your knees far apart, head down, palms upraised before you, and gaze cast down on the floor. Think of this as “Parade Rest.”
2) If I have requested your presence or attention or you have important information to convey to me upon entering the room then you will kneel with your knees together, your hands behind your back, head held high and eyes cast down as I instructed you on our first day together. Think of this as “Attention!”
Demonstrate this to me please…we’ll begin the parade rest version first.
Very nice my little one.
